Book Haul | May ’15

Hey everyone! So last month was insane for me when it comes to book hauls; I bought over 30 books, so relatively, I did much better this month with twelve books. I haven’t read most of these books; in fact, I’ve only read two: A Court of Thorns & Roses by Sarah J. Maas and City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare!

Book Outlet was having its Mother’s Day sale, and every book on their website was an extra 25% off. I got seven books in the sale:

  • LUX Beginnings by Jennifer L. Armentrout
  • Far Far Away by Tom McNeal (I got this just because it was 99 cents)
  • Broken Hearts, Fences and Other Things to Mend by Katie Finn
  • Reality Boy by AS King
  • Every Day by David Levithan
  • Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
  • Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

Taking pictures in a different setting (my actual room, not my dorm room) proved to be a challenge because I couldn’t figure out where the lighting was the best. So, I’m not too proud of the picture but hey, I tried. xD

Happy reading!

    • Tell me about it. That’s what I was going for too, but Book Outlet and its sales are ruining me! Hopefully, I’ll keep my buying to a low in the summer because I have so many books I need to read haha! x

      • Haha there’s this shop called The Works about a 10 minute drive away and man, they have the cheapest books, it’s so difficult to not buy it all. They had Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick for £1! And The Maze Runner series for £5! 😛

        • Wow, that’s nuts but it sounds like heaven! :O My dorm for the 2014-2015 year was right across the Strand bookstore- they have a huge collection and they have some great bargains, but nowhere near as cheap as the ones you’re telling me! Wow, wow! xD

          • Haha, The Works is a chain shop all over England (I think). They have some pricy stuff as well like I think GoT was like £30/40 ish? But to buy just a normal book is about £2 – they do a deal 3 for £5 😛

          • UGH, omg, that sounds fab! T_T I’ll definitely have to check it out once I get to England. 😛 My ‘bookshops to visit’ list just keeps getting bigger. xD

          • When you do come to England, come to York! They have 2 The Works, Waterstones and loads of small, independent shops as well as chains 😛

    • I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. If you’d accept a little piece of advice: if you haven’t read the Infernal Devices, I suggest you read that series before you move on to City of Heavenly Fire because CoHF contains major spoilers. Of course, if you don’t care about spoilers, then you’re good. 😀 And if you’ve read the Infernal Devices, ignore me. 😛
