Top Ten Tuesday | July 7: Top Ten Hyped Books I’ve Never Read

Hello everyone! It’s that time of the week again! Top Ten Tuesday is a book meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Basically, you get a different bookish topic every Tuesday, and you comprise a list of ten (or however many you’re able to list) relating to said topic.

Today’s topic is ‘Top Ten Hyped Books I’ve Never Read.‘ These books are in no particular order.

1. Attachments by Rainbow Rowell

2. These Broken Stars by Meagan Spooner and Amie Kaufman

3. The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken

4. Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes

5. The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey

6. Legend by Marie Lu

7. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

  • I loved The Night Circus, definitely one that I’ll be wanting to reread soon. I also really liked Since You’ve Been Gone. It’s a PERFECT summer book in my opinion.

    • I’ve heard nothing but fantastic things about both of those books! I’ll probably be getting to Since You’ve Been Gone this month, and I’m stoked! 😀

  • I highly recommend you read these broken stars and the night circus, they were both in the top ten of my fave books last year and they are well worth the time!

    • Ah, they’re both very high on my list! So much to read, such little time haha! Thanks for stopping by! x

      • my pleasure as a blogger i like reading comments people leave me and i like to return the favour.

  • Legend, The Darkest Minds & These Broken Stars are great books, hope you enjoy them! The Selection isn’t bad either. 🙂 Attachments, The Night Circus, Rebel Belle & Since You’ve Been Gone all seem like great books, they’re on my TBR as well. Awesome list! <3

  • The Night Circus is awesome! I also really enjoyed The 5th Wave.

    • That’s good to know! I’ve heard mixed reviews about the 5th Wave (especially the second in the series), but the Night Circus gets nothing but praise. 🙂 x

      • I’ve heard mixed reviews about the second book too but I actually really liked it. A lot is explained in the second book too.

  • You have some really great books on here! I’d really recommend The Night Circus, Rebel Belle, The Selection, and Attachments. They’re all so unique and fun, and though they are incredibly hyped I think they’re definitely worth the read! 🙂

    • I’ve heard mixed things about the Selection series, but I still look forward to giving it a go! Rebel Belle sounds very fun too! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂 x

  • I haven’t read any of these either. Rebel Belle and Attachments are on my list for sure.

  • Oh wow your blog is gorgeous! I love the watercolor-y theme and the floral designs ugh so jealous of it all.
Since You’ve Been Gone is my favorite out of the entire list. It deserved the hype and is insanely good. Sweet and all about learning about yourself. I loved it a lot.
I liked Legend and The 5th Wave from what I remember but it’s been a while so I don’t have much to say…
I do remember thinking that the characters were a little flat in The Night Circus but the mood of the book was really well written.

    • Thank you! You’re too kind. <3

SYBG is moving up my list really quickly. I'll think I'll get around to it this month. So excited!

  • I would highly recommend The Night Circus, it’s one of my favourite books! I’ve got Since You’ve Been Gone but I haven’t read it yet, maybe I should.

    My TTT:

    • I’ve heard SYBG is a perfect summer read. Maybe you can get to it this summer! :3

  • I loved The Night Circus. The writing was beautiful. I could have done without reading The Selection. It was just blah to me and I didn’t read the rest of them.

    • Yes, I’ve heard mixed things about the Selection too. 🙂 x

  • Yvo

I haven’t read any of these titles either! Most of them are on my TBR though; hopefully I will get to them soon!

  • YOU MUST READ THE NIGHT CIRCUS 😀 It’s so beautiful, one of my absolute favourite books! And Rebel Belle is justice this really awesome reading adventure, it’s hilarious! Since You’ve Been Gone is also a nice summer read 🙂 The cover of These Broken Stars is so pretty! I reallyyy want to read it 🙂 great list!! xx

    • Thank you! Ah, everyone on this comment thread has told me to read the Night Circus. With every recommendation, it keeps moving up my TBR list! 😀 Happy reading! x

  • If nothing else, read “The Selection” series! Sooooo good!!!!

  • Is Attachments really a hyped book? I guess Fangirl is but I haven’t heard much about Attachments – it’s great by the way 😛

    • On BookTube, a lot of people have said that Attachments is their favorite Rainbow Rowell book. It’s definitely not as hyped as Fangirl, but it’s still there, i think. 😀

      • I’ve never heard people talking about it on booktube 😛

        • Really?! I’ve heard tons of people raving about it.

  • aentee @ read at midnight

The Night Circus has the prettiest cover, and quite a nice love story, but not as enchanting as I would like *pouts*

I also must read The Darkest Mind, Falling Kingdoms & These Broken Stars *A*

  • I am reading The Darkest Minds right now (I’m on page 326) and it is really good. A bit confusing at first, but not in the bad ‘I can’t figure out what is happening???’ way.
The other books I don’t know. If I wrote a list like this… it would be a really long list/hard to choose the books, because I haven’t read a lot of hyped books.

    • That’s good to hear. I’ll probably get started with it as soon as I’m done with some of the series I have started already!

And same; I feel like I’m always the last one to jump on a bandwagon haha. 🙂

  • I’ve read The Darkest Minds, The 5th Wave, Legend and the Night Cirucs and I enjoyed them all. 🙂

  • I’ve read the Night Circus and I remember really liking it at the time…but to me it was one of those books that I forgot about pretty soon after, although I think a lot of people would say otherwise. But I definitely think it’s worth a shot! Have you read other Rainbow Rowell books? I always mention Fangirl in my book posts, it’s really good.
