Hey everyone! I have been very irregular over the past few months when it comes to posting reviews and stuff, because I was very busy with university. Fortunately, now my freshman year has ended, I have a ton of time to read before I go on vacation to Pakistan in June! Yay!
So as a few of you might know, the Read Your Bookshelf-athon is coming up, and it runs from the 18th of May all the way to the 25th. What you do is you pick a spot on your bookshelf, and you just read through it. The formal rule is that if you come across a book in a series, you have to read that one, but you don’t have to read the next ones in the same series, so you can skip those. However, I’ve been wanting to finish all of Cassandra Clare’s books, so I will not be skipping over.
After I’m done with what I’m currently reading, I’m going to start with The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima, then I’m going to go on to the City of Lost Souls, then Clockwork Princess, and then City of Heavenly Fire. I very much doubt I’m going to be able to complete all these books, because they are fairly hefty, but I’m going to try my best to get through them. If, by some strange miracle, I manage to finish all four of these, I look forward to reading the Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
If you’re participating in this readathon, please let me know in the comments down below what you plan on reading. If you can give me a link to your TBR post or video, I would be really happy to watch it. If you’re not planning on participating, I do urge you to consider because it’s going to be a lot of fun.
The hashtag for the readathon is #RYBSAT and a lot of people are going to be using it, including me, so hop on the train! Also, follow the Twitter page for information on reading sprints and perhaps some other good, fun stuff.
Thanks so much for reading. By the way, if you would like to see my entire TBR book shelf (yes, I have an entire shelf for TBR books), let me know and I’ll be sure to post a tour. Be on the look out for some reviews I have lined up, and I wish you all a very happy reading!
